Hike description

We will walk up to the top of Huckleberry Mountain, gaining 300 feet elevation, then down gradually along the crest of the ridge, and finally turn around and return to the cars. The views are even more expansive than on the higher section of the ridge, offering unobstructed opportunities to gaze on both sides toward the Wallowas, the Blues, and even the Seven Devils. We expect beautiful wildflowers. The weather promises to be cooler in the mountains.
